Sydney, 5th November 2009: Mobile and online payment solutions provider, Mint Wireless Limited (ASX: MNW) (“Mint”), has signed a strategic partnership and supply agreement with Australia’s leading national enterprise mobility systems integrator, AirData. AirData is a certified Microsoft and Motorola enterprise mobility partner, incorporating mobile computing devices, wireless infrastructure and mobile applications as part of their core product and services offering. AirData has over 30 years experience in mobility, providing true end to end solutions to a wide variety of industry verticals including, Field Sales, Field Service, Retail, Transport & Logistics, Government, Healthcare and Warehouse & Distribution.
The partnership will see AirData take on Mint’s leading mobile and online payment solutions as one of their key product and services, resulting in greater exposure of an integrated payment solution to Australian businesses, ranging from sole traders to large corporate enterprises. AirData’s national sales presence will bolster Mint’s existing channels through the introduction of its payment solutions to a range of existing and new AirData corporate customers.
Mint’s mobile and online payment solution is compliant with all relevant international and Australian banking industry benchmarks including Payment Card Industry (PCI) / Data Security Standards (DSS) compliance. Mint’s market leading mobile and online payment solutions coupled with AirData’s strong technical knowledge and support base in the hardware and software integration will culminate in significant cost and operational benefits to the range of potential business end-users. The partnership will leverage the core competencies of the two businesses to offer customers a true plug-and-play payment solution with minimal integration times and capital outlay.
