31st October 2006 - Mint, the world's most advanced portable payment system has teamed up with Wired Sky to increase customer satisfaction at the Good Living Wine Show.
Enabling business to process credit card transactions and customer invoices on the spot, the mint portable payment system improves the tradeshow experience for all customers, operators and organisers.
The October Good Food month culminated in the traditional Good Living Wine Show which was held over the 28th and 29th, featuring the Mint Portable Payment System providing a convenient payment solution and easy access at all entrance points to the show. The show had over 200 exhibitors and had many visitors over the 2 days.
Wired Sky's CEO, Matt Hall said "it was a great opportunity for the mint payment system; we have successfully used the device at other smaller shows and I was excited to see its application at this event, it was a great success!" Wired Sky will be providing similar services to other future tradeshows and events.
"The Mint Payment System is the perfect product for tradeshows as it's completely portable" says Mints CEO Alex Teoh. "It allows both tradeshow organisers and the stall operators to process credit card payments and invoices anywhere inside or outside the hall, without the limitation of wires and cables."
Operating over the 3G, GSM/GPRS, CDMA or Wifi systems, the mint portable payment system lets any mobile business, such as a market or trade stall process credit card payments and customer invoices on the spot. It is just like having a cash register in your pocket. Users can automatically generate tax invoices, process credit card, cash or cheque payments and get real-time online reporting of all their sales details, whenever and wherever they do business.
The Mint software is compatible with a wide range of PDA's and comes with a handy card-reading and printing device to provide a one-stop, complete processing solution, from invoicing through to payment. All transaction details are securely accessed over the internet, and are easily transferred into accounting packages like Quicken and MYOB.
Customer feedback for the product has been extremely positive both at the wine show, recent tradeshows and by other users. Mint Portable Payment System customers currently include tradesmen, delivery, cleaning and waste removal companies along with event and tourism charters. Mint even has possible applications within restaurants and catering.
