Mint reports $3.183 million operating revenue

Mobile payment services and portable data storage devices provider Mint Wireless has announced its operating revenue was $3.184 million for the half year ended 31 December 2007, including revenue from continuing operations of $2.984 million. The gross profit for the half year was $565,325.

Mint has also reported a net loss of $1.679 million for the half year mainly due to higher set-up costs. The financial results of Mint's corresponding period in 2006 were not applicable. "In the next six months we expect to increase revenue from both the Portable Payment business and Mint Trading business," said CEO Alex Teoh
